RTL 12 public preview and next month’s plans!

Hi again. As promised in the last post, below is the public early preview of the final chapter of RTL. My original plan for this set was to make three concluding mini-sets and then lead into the next story arc; but partially due to the special poll two months back and due to the only public feedback I received back when I asked, I decided to change it in a few ways. I made the lesbian scene the main scene with two parts and cut the other two mini-sets that were planned. The image below is one of the early establishing shots in the set and shows who will be involved in the main scene, as per the votes and suggestions of one fan; as well as the garden/pool that the scene takes place in. I think this should be much nicer than the general conclusion that I was planning this last chapter to be; now that this main scene will be the majority of the set, with a few other things shown/mentioned in passing to reflect what else is going on. Again, I will have this done later this week and post the public previews as soon as I have them.

As for the other part of this post; a lot is going to happen/change starting next month, but here are some examples of what that will include. As mentioned above, this is the last entry in the RTL story arc and as such I plan on taking a small break from starting the next main story line; likely until the end of the year. I plan on taking next month to put forward major time on finishing my original game idea from way back whenever. (Salune’s slave training.) Almost all the back end/coding stuff is set, I just need some time to make/implement all the raw content; which I will now finally have. I aim to get a quarter of my original planned scenes for it done next month; which would be around four mini-sets worth of images, which would be comparable to the small VN I made a short while ago. Regardless, there will be Patreon exclusive previews of what events are currently planned and at least one event image preview, a Patreon poll to decide one event from a selection that will definitely be done next month, and perhaps most importantly I plan to send out whatever I do get done next month to $15+ patrons as a very early beta. It will almost certainly be horribly unfinished, but still technically playable; so I figured why not.

There will still be some new DA images next month, as well as a Patreon mini-set preview, and a few public previews of the game here, in addition to the free release of RTL chapter 9. However, I am posting this as fair warning that most new content next month will be geared towards patrons; so if you are on the fence about becoming my patron, now would be a pretty good time. (As you need to get in now in order to get access to next month’s posts/content.) Even $2 patrons will get access to the general previews next month, just FYI. Another quick FYI, I plan to drop the current group of $15+ patron mini-sets at the end of this year; so until then the $15 tier and up still get every mini-set that I have made for it so far. Hi again. It’s been a while since my last update so I thought I should post a small update to let you all know what is happening. I ran a bit late with the RTL Patreon preview, but posted it just now; so I now plan to post it here on Monday. The set is shaping up nicely though and it is much nicer than my original plan for this concluding chapter. I also plan to mention some of the things that will be happening next month in that post, most of which will involve things for my patrons. So check back on Monday for all that and I will have RTL 12 done sometime late next week!

Hey. So this is going to be a sizable bit of text in this update, but I see no real way around that given all that I need to say and do in here. First off, the anniversary mini-set special poll ended with two items tied for first place, “Helenya x Karen” and “Salune x tentacles”; as previously noted, in cases where a winner is needed and there is a tie, I have to break it. I will decide which of those two I will make the mini-set of a bit later this month when I get to it; I cannot pick one at this time and want to think about it more before I choose one. So the contents of the free mini-set that I will make sometime this month will be somewhat of a surprise, but it will be one of those two things. In regard to the new polls, one asks if you prefer quality or quantity when it comes to adult image sets; the other asks which setting you prefer for your adult content. (For possible side image sets once RTL is finished this month.)

Now for the main event in this update: it is coming up on the technical two year anniversary of this project, and I have some questions for all of you out there if you can take the time to answer. I would really like to know the following from each of you, even an answer to some of these would be fine if you either can’t or don’t want to answer all of them. The more feedback I get though, the more likely certain things are and the better my work will get; so if you want to see me make more of what you want and/or help me improve my art, please answer any or all of these questions in a comment here. They are just some simple questions, asking what you like best about my work, and also what you think I can improve on and things like that. These questions were asked early this month to my Patreon patrons, and I have already acted on some of the feedback I got from them. I figured that I might as well ask these on here as well since I posted these questions on DA recently, so at least I can say I tried.

I do realize this is somewhat awkward to ask, since none of you have likely played the small VN I made nor seen any of my most recent image sets; but I will take any answers I can get here. So please, if you want to help me out and/or see more of what you like from me, take a few minutes to tell me your answers to any or preferably all of the following questions. Feel free to add any other information/suggestions, the questions are just a guideline of what I am looking to find out. I really appreciate any and all feedback given; it is quite difficult to improve my work and know what people want when I have almost no feedback whatsoever.

1.) What is your single favorite content item I have made so far and why? (This could be a story set chapter, animation, character, or a even specific image.)

2.) What is favorite type of content that I make? (Story sets, image sets, mini-sets, games, animations, other?)

3.) What would you like to see more of from me? (This can be a character, content type, or a fetish.)

4.) What is your favorite aspect of my work, and why?

5.) What do you feel is the weakest aspect of my work so far and why?

6.) Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to seeing me do? (This could be a certain situation, character combination, the next story arc, or just something like finishing my original game idea.)

7.) What do you feel is the thing that I do best? (I was thinking like a fetish/scene type here, but I guess content type could work also, or even something like character design.)

Late august update!

Hi. Ok first off, sorry for the late update but I have had a lot of weird crap happen since last weekend and I just didn’t feel like writing this last night. Long story short, I could only get part of the old animation working right, and it seems dumb to post only such a small part when all my other ones have been full scenes; so that is shelved for now. I do really like the walking one I came up with instead though, so maybe that was for the best.

In better news, I did get the new Octane version 3 going and it looks really nice; I can now use a lot of crap with octane that I either couldn’t use before or had to work around weird ways to use before thanks to it now officially supporting displacement in octane. Long story short, this means more and better content, In other news, if you haven’t checked the “commissions and stuff for me” section of my DA page, you probably should as it has a few really nice things people have made for me recently, with more to come soonish. There is also a journal there asking you all for some feedback on my work, if anyone wants to help me out with that.

There will be at least one new poll posted either tomorrow or the day after. There will be a bunch of stuff coming next month; including the extra mini-set from the poll on the right here, so vote on that if you haven’t already for some reason. It is currently tied, so I would have to break it; but there is likely still at least a day or so until I take the poll down so there is still time. So I should post again in a day or two with new polls and the current poll results, and maybe some other info about my plans after next month.

Hi. As the title mentions, I have posted the last of this month’s new content to my deviantart page; so check that out if you haven’t yet. There is also a special preview on my tumblr, for those who use that. Strange note, the special poll is currently almost a complete tie; which is really weird and unhelpful. The total number of votes is low, so this can still change; but as things stand I would just have to pick between the options tied for first place. Even the two second place options are just two votes away from being in first, so anything can still happen at this point; so vote and spread the word! I hope to have the animation and/or this month’s patreon mini-set ready by the end of this week, so check back for a new preview of some sort!

Hey. As you would guess from the title, I have just posted the early preview of the upcoming chapter of RTL to my patreon patrons; and it will get posted here in a couple days. They also already know the main focus of what the chapter will contain; and I think this should be really fun and hopefully everyone will like it. Just in case you forgot and/or didn’t notice before, this is the second to last chapter in the RTL story arc; the poll on the right relates to the final one, that I will do in September. So after RTL is done, I will likely take a little time to work on some other things for a bit before starting up the next main story arc. (As people seemed to want from a previous poll.) I did successfully put a small(ish) VN together earlier; so chances are good that I will be able to finally finish off my original game idea sometime soonish after assorted long delays. Anyway, I will post again in a few days with the early preview here and then again probably towards next weekend with the final previews, so look forward to all that!

Hi. As the title suggests, this is just a quick update to let you all know that I have sent out a preview of the main character in the upcoming small VN I am working on, along with some additional information on the story and how it will operate. My patrons will also get an event preview early next week, and then I will post some sort of public preview here sometime late next week; around when the game is finished and actually gets sent to my patrons. Overall, I really like how this is coming along and I think it will be much nicer than I expected.

Hi. So it’s been a while since I’ve posted here, mostly due to me being overly busy and not being able to get much done during the week; so there wasn’t much to mention in an update. Honestly there still isn’t much to show yet given the nature of the project that I am working on and the general lack of time I have been dealing with. For what it’s worth, I am working on a micro VN right now, and I really hope to have some graphical previews for my patrons in the next few days. Unfortunately, the majority of things I have done so far (and indeed will do at all) are not things that would be in any way exciting to look at and/or would be massive spoilers; so I can’t use them for previews. Another thing to note is that the game features different, mostly one-off characters unless some prove really popular when it’s done; in which case I might bring some back later on somehow.

Only one of my permanent characters is planned to show up in the game, who that is will remain a surprise. A final thing to note is that whatever game I make here will be available to my patrons only for the foreseeable future; I have no idea how long it will end up being, the content types available or anything else yet. I have a big list of stuff I want to include but it all just depends on the time I can get to finish all this in the next two weeks or so. I am also going to work on it right up until it gets sent out, for polish if nothing else. If I can manage to get the Patreon previews up in a few days, there should be something posted here as well around the end of the month. The polls could use more votes as well; one of them I am planning to take into account with this project if I get enough time to work in more than just basic music and such.

Side note, I also am currently trying to fix a final image for DA; which I hope to finally post all this stuff I made over the last few days on there either late today or tomorrow. EDIT: Those images are done and are up on DA now; I really like them and you should check them out if you haven’t already.

Hey. As the title suggests, and as many of you have probably noticed, I have yet to post any new content yet due to some real life crap and me adding to/fixing RTL 10 again. The final set ended up being 41 images, each with a story and clean version. I think it is a really fun set and I sent it out along with the other appropriate content to my patrons a short while ago. Apologies to my patrons for the slight delay there, but since RTL 10 is now 33% larger (and has some new tags/types of content in it), I think it was worth it; hopefully you will all agree.

Back to the general content topic, I need a few more days to get either the mini-set and/or the DA images done since I have spent the last three days (which was all the spare time I had last week) on fixing RTL 10 again. So if nothing else happens I should get something up in a few days. Also, the polls could really use some more votes; the top one has over double the votes of the bottom poll for some reason. These polls help me know what you all want and are basically all the feedback I get from most of you; so more votes would help. As for the main content item this month, don’t expect much here before the very end of the month; I want to give that as much time as I can for assorted reasons. (Patrons know the plan already and will get more, earlier previews.)

Hey. I am back with the poll results, plans for this month, and new polls. First off the previous polls only got ten or so votes each; but at least the results were clear. People seem to either like or not mind the idea of more major characters, which is good since I have a bunch of newer ones that will get introduced at the start of the next story arc. (Patrons know some already.) The other poll asked about comedy, and most people seemed to be ok with it or like it; only one person said they weren’t a fan, so that is good to know. Nobody bothered to really vote against either poll so things seem like they will work out.

As for the main content plan this month, I have something special planned which may/may not be a surprise; though my Patrons already know what it is. I will do the DA images and the mini-set for this month in the next week or so and then use what time I have left for the other thing. I will post multiple previews on my Patreon, but there will be one here sometime after I mention that I am starting work on it. I think everyone is going to like it, but only time will tell. Also there are two new polls up, one asks how you feel about music/sound effects in adult games; and the other asks how often you buy adult image sets. (I fully intend to stay with my current Patreon based system, but I am considering making a few paid sets just to get my name on some of these sites.) So check those out and check back a little later for some kind of new content!
