Work schedule effectively abolished.

Hi all. As you can probably tell, I don’t have anything new ready yet; as I haven’t really had the time/energy to work on this stuff yet – this summer was just a fucking mess, and I am still having issues even trying to recover from it. However, I am going ahead with this announcement about tossing out my old schedule entirely – not quite sure of the exact details/plans of how I will proceed from this point forward yet… but that is also kind of the point.

First though – an “update” on the Patreon situation… there really isn’t one, because they have yet to get back to me after my latest reply last week. I think that my reply to their reply maybe got flagged as spam or something, since I never got one of their automated responses indicating that they even got it – so I sent another one two days ago, that has at least been acknowledged, as of yesterday… but not replied to. (I waited to post this until today, hoping they might reply yesterday, but… nope.) Knowing my luck, they will reply just after I post all these updates… but fuck it – I will deal with that later. I effectively know what the “best” and worst case scenarios are already; I just need to find out which is going to be forced upon me, since I refuse to endanger myself with their retarded forced identification crap for $20 a month.

Anyway, as mentioned above, I am totally getting rid of my old schedule, as things have basically only gotten worse this year, and I have had issues even keeping up with a mini-set every other month since the summer got into full swing and the shit hit the fan. What this means is that I am effectively adopting the schedule that most artists seem to have, which is that I will do whatever I can, whenever I can… which will hopefully lead to more/better content in the long term, once I recover from the past few months. (Hell, some of the highest income artists I have seen basically make just one image a month.) I have not exactly been able to try and actually rest/recover much yet though, due to real life crap that has been going on and the assorted messes related to the Patreon fiasco that is making this so much worse for me. (I also have to deal with the constant guilt/anxiety of not being able to get anything much done for this project in a few months now… but thinking about all that just makes it even worse still.)

I am not exactly abandoning the “mini” set idea either – those will likely just be very infrequent now. (Maybe for like holidays, or ideas I particularly like that don’t fit the main story arc… I dunno.) Originally, the plan with the mini-sets was for them to stay small (the first few were under a dozen renders) and it was mostly just a gimmick to get myself to constantly be making new stuff and trying new things with renders. However once I actually got good at making renders/scenes, they got really big and complicated, and that left me no time/energy to work on “main” content… which which is at least partially the reason why things are where they are today. It is worth noting though, that most of the reason my renders are as nice as they are now is due to the mini-sets… so it was definitely not a waste. (Not that things were really much better support-wise back when I was still doing the main sets or other stuff… but still.)

In the immediate term, I have no idea when I will get back to working on LITC 6, but at this moment, I am trying to get enough energy/motivation back just to do the October/Halloween side render stuff that I do every year in a couple weeks. I have no idea why that is/has been a thing, but I do want to keep that up if I can… so we will see what happens. The other thing some long-time fans may have been expecting around now is effectively delayed until after LITC 6… so again, no clues on that yet either.

As for the Patreon thing, it will likely either become just a tip jar, if I am forced to wipe the NSFW stuff from it; or effectively a tip jar with some tiered bonuses – as it kind of has been for a few months now. (I don’t yet know what I will/can do with my “regular” content if my NSFW Patreon has to be taken down… but that is a mess for another day.) This is of course presuming that I am able to keep my page up at all… but as far as I can tell now, that should at least be possible if I re-classify it – I hope.

I should be back in a few days to go over the polls, and/or post a more official update on the Patreon situation… if/when they ever get back to me. (Kind of hoping that I don’t have to redo my entire page and wipe all NSFW posts manually… but if that is my only option, so be it.) Other than that, I have no idea when anything else will get done – I really, really need to take a significant amount of time off to just recover, and nothing else. Aiming for Halloween side renders at the minimum in the next month… but we will see what happens. We have the remnants of a hurricane coming this way in the next few days… so things will likely be messy as it is; but hopefully it won’t be too bad.

Hey again. I don’t actually have a major update yet, as I am still thinking through all kinds of crap regarding this project – and I am really trying to get my plans straight before making any major announcements. (As the coming changes will likely be major…) I just wanted to post here and give a small update in the mean time. (I do also want to post updates else where soon… but I want to get my plans situated first; not much reason to post such a basic update everywhere.)

I do not yet know when I will have new side renders or anything ready, as I was once again quite busy/tired this past week… and still just out of it overall; but I am hoping to have more time/energy/drive to do whatever I can in these last two weeks of the month. (I still want to focus on LITC 6 if I can… but that is a big if; especially as I am still effectively planning to scrap my old schedule entirely – but again, more on that soon.) Sorry to the few of you who actually check this page regularly, and/or care about my work… but I am just spent at the moment – the past two months really just sucked for me; and now it seems that assorted other factors are complicating things, such as the whole Patreon situation.

Speaking of the Patreon situation – based on the information they have given/posted, I currently think that I may be able to wipe the NSFW stuff off my page and turn it into a tip jar or something… but that is a maybe; hopefully I can confirm that this coming week. (I still don’t think it is a good idea to give out dangerous levels of personal information for no real/valid reason; so again, I have no plans to go along with their new “””age verification””” crap they are soon going to force on all 18+ pages.)

Yo everyone. Sorry this post is a bit later than usual, but I took the holiday weekend off, and I am just now trying to get back into everything. (Whatever that means at this point…) My dental issues have all been resolved (for the moment) – so that is better at least; but the weather is acting up a bit right now (humid, rainy)… so we will see how that goes. I am kind of just sick of everything at the moment; it has been super draining to just deal with all the complications popping up lately, let alone work on LITC 6. Even doing things that are supposed to be relaxing feels a bit meh – fairly sure I need to step back a bit before getting back to major work on render stuff. (I know some of you probably think I just haven’t been doing anything; but I have been trying when I can – just mostly failing and/or treading water… even I can’t deny that I am too spent/tired to make progress right now; the last two months have been quite crappy for me overall.)

I am still trying to figure out what is going on with the Patreon forced age verification garbage – but as things stand, I may have to suspend my page at the end of the year if things don’t change. As previously noted, I am not overly concerned for a handful of reasons… but it still seems like a crappy move on their part. I will likely have more updates on all this a bit later.

In other news, I am currently planning to abolish my old schedule system entirely, and make mini-sets rather infrequently when I am particularly feeling the need to (holidays, and/or every few months maybe… I don’t even know); and instead just do whatever I can, whenever I can – while focusing on side renders and story sets… with no specified goals/time limits. I am not 100% certain on this plan yet… but I am about 88% certain. Something has to change, as things are just not working out – nor have they been for many years now; at the very least this new plan should be a lot easier on me… and hopefully lead to better quality renders in theory. I still want to make renders and NSFW stuff – so I am taking rather drastic measures to try and get back on a better track with this project, and hopefully get things to a more sustainable place. More on all this later as well – when I make a more official announcement… this is just a heads up and/or advance preview for those out there who actually read these posts. (Someone seems to… I think.)

As for the polls – there were two last time, one asked about how I should sort a side render gallery, and the other asked about your favorite type of hybrid character. The character poll was no contest, unsurprisingly – and those who cared to vote overwhelming prefer catgirls… as I also do. 😀 As for the other poll, one person suggests sorting by character, and the other wanted me to sort by fetish… so that is still somewhat up in the air; as I think I would have to make too many galleries (manually) if I did it by fetish, but that does seem like a good plan – I will have to look into that a bit more later.

There are also two new polls up – and they are below and on the right; so please vote in those. The first poll is new and asks how you feel about onomatopoeias (sound effect bits, i.e. – *smack*, *whoosh*, *spurt*, etc.) in adult comics/story sets; and the second is a repeat of a very old poll, asking how much clothing you prefer in your adult content. Do please let me know what you think of those – especially the first one… as it will be relevant quite soon.

Also, some longer time fans of mine may realize I haven’t mentioned one other thing that they have have been expecting around now – that is because there is only one real option left there; and I don’t plan on getting into that until I finish LITC 6 (for obvious reasons, if you even know what I am talking about here)… and even then, I am not totally sure when that other thing may get done. (Or perhaps even if, at this stage…)
