May mini-set preview is finally ready!

Hey again! This took much longer than I was hoping for… for all sorts of reasons; but long story short; I sort of fixed the mini-set. I did get it looking good, but I couldn’t quite get all that I wanted to in the sci-fi mini-set though – due to the limitations of my render machine… so I attempted to come up with something else (instead of the sci-fi one, at first) – which lead to my current predicament. Effectively, I have for the first time made a mini-set that is BOTH fantasy and sci-fi themed… and it might be either my best or worst mini-set ever depending on your tastes/preferences. This mini-set/story was supposed to just focus on the sci-fi aspect of this… and you never actually saw what was going on inside the machine/game – but thanks to me going all in with this in the visual department, now you do! I think this came out really well and I think/hope that people will be interested and/or really like it… but we will see what the response/reception to this is. (I am rather proud of how well the preview came out and how informative it is – despite it being a bit blunt/cheesy; since the preview for this is basically two in one.)

As far as what this is about… in the not so distant future, a young girl – Rebecca, volunteers and is chosen to help a famous technology company test their new “full immersion” virtual reality gaming system; and she gets far more than she ever bargained for during the test – in more ways than one! The new immersion system turns one of her favorite adult-themed massively multiplayer retro-fantasy games, “Whore Quest: Challenge of the Bitch Queens”, into a sexual playground – where everyone and everything wants to (and does) fuck her senseless; and she can feel it all as if it was really happening. (Her consciousness is effectively transferred into the game – and therefore, all her senses with it.) The scientist in charge has locked her inside the game… and drained her stats, but made her immortal – which left her at the mercy of pretty much everything in there; which seems harsh, but it was necessary in order to fully test her new system – plus, Rebecca did technically agree to it when she signed the contract for the test. Poor Rebecca hasn’t even considered what may be happening to her real body while she has been in there (which is a long list) –  as Rebecca’s character has gone though much worse inside the game… and who knows what else may be in store for her. 😀 (Important life lesson – always read the fine print and never sign anything unless you do.)

The mini-set itself is not finished yet due to the assorted delays/issues, so I have no idea how big it will be; what I have so far is honestly more than what these are supposed to be in the first place… (4-6 images) but I tend to just keep adding things to these and go overboard every time, so it will likely be over a dozen images or so. (The last few have been around 20, but this is already a lot more detailed/involved than I usually do in mini-sets due to the extended time/effort put in.) Whatever this ends up being, it will go out to appropriate patrons of mine in about two weeks or so. This was a lot of work, (basically two mini-sets… and I spent much longer on it than normal due to the issues) but it was also pretty fun to do… and hopefully people will enjoy it. 🙂

As for the short story bit – again, I had to redo much of it since I had not originally addressed the internal bits of the game in the initial story, and much of what I had originally planned was not possible due to my limited render machine… but due to me redoing/adding to the mini-set itself, I also went ahead and added to the short story as well to better reflect what the mini-set is now – and it is not so short anymore, at least currently. (I basically wrote another short story to put in the middle of the original one – and also cut out a bit of the original story; and I am now trying to better weave them together.) However, I have had assorted real life things to deal with these past few days (in addition to the general issues making this mini-set) – including a lengthy doctor appointment earlier today that went way over what was scheduled, so I lost a lot of time that I had planned to use for editing today. Long story short, I need a little more time to fine tune (and maybe cut a bit of) the ‘short’ story for this – it should be posted sometime tomorrow. (I plan to update this post when it is ready. EDIT: It is done, but I made a new post for it, here: https://redleatherart.com/wp/?p=2552) Sorry for the slight delay here – but as you can probably tell by the preview/description… I think/hope that this should be worth it. 🙂 (Apology to the handful of people that subscribe to posts here via email and whoever reads this before I post the story – but I see no way around this; I am just too out of it to properly finish/check this right now and I want this to be as good as the preview.)

Anyway, below is the preview image for the mini-set; which I am quite pleased with for all sorts of reasons – I feel it does a good job at showing both aspects of what is going on. (People tend not to like my ‘establishing shot’ previews for these mini-sets, so I went with one that was from the end instead this time.) I am not even entirely certain what this will or won’t include in the images yet – as it is not finished and basically two mini-sets in one… and there are many options available – (especially in the fantasy department) but there will be some of both aspects. Obviously, and as before – not everything in the short story will be visually represented in the mini-set. (The tags on this post are what is visually represented in the mini-set as of right now and will likely get updated later.) As far as other stuff, I will be back in a couple days with new polls and to go over the current poll results.

Hi again. Just came by with a small status update for the main site – as the title suggests, I have posted an early event scene preview from the new game on my Patreon page for my supporters; featuring Zayla and the human slave girl in a bit of bondage training. 😀 I rather like it – and it should get posted publicly (here) in a month or so, for anyone wondering. Or you could get to see it now… possibly along with other stuff – like SST, by supporting me. 😀 (Which would also help me make more content.)

So in case it was not clear from that, I decided to work on the event scenes for the new game a bit this week first, and then I will try to fix that one sci-fi mini-set this weekend and beyond; so sometime next week we will find out whether or not I got that to work or had to make something else. I am hoping to fix it somehow, but as it stands now – it really could go either way. (I actually end up tossing a few mini-sets while they are still in the concept phase – I mainly want to fix this one because I already wrote the short story bit.) Anyway – I will see you all again next week sometime; do vote in the polls and check out my other pages in the meantime… I did list a couple new VHQ renders on my redbubble page, for the people who are interested in that. 🙂

Status update: 5/17

Hey again. So I just finished the last renders for the mini-set earlier today, and sent out patreon rewards a short while ago. (The mini-set with Lucia and the troglodytes ended up at 30 images incidentally.) It took a little longer than I had planned due to assorted complications this week – not to mention me being really behind from the delays caused by my surgery last month… but I like how it came out and I think it was worth it. At this stage, I will take a day or two off and then try to fix that other sci-fi mini-set from last month… and also work on more events for the new game with whatever time I have left. I may also post a couple new images for merch on my redbubble page – but I will see if I have time to do an HQ render or two over the weekend. (I do want to make that mini-set guide page on here at some point.. but I doubt that will happen this month; the search/tags here will have to do for now.)

I also have several medical/dental appointments in the next two weeks – hopefully nothing new/horrible will get found this time… I lost a lot of time as it was last month; though that was apparently quite necessary. I hope to be back next week with either the mini-set preview or another status update if that is not ready/fixed yet… as I said before, worst case is I have to write another short story to go with whatever else I come up with. We will just have to see how things go – I am still working on assorted other ideas/things on the side as well… so who knows what may happen; I will do what I can with the time I have. In the mean time, do vote in the polls on the right, and check out my assorted pages – linked both up above and on the right!

Hi again. Sorry this took a little bit, but I have now posted the new DA images on my DA page, and will be added to my Slushe page in the morning! I am still catching up a bit after losing so much time last month – but I think things are going about as well as can be expected right now. Over the weekend, I will try and finish the other renders I want to put in the mini-set from last month; and then move back to working on the new game again… with whatever time I can manage. Sometime during the next two weeks or so I will take a break from that and try to fix that one sci-fi mini-set again… hopefully I can get that somewhere that I like so that I can use this short story that I already wrote for it – but we will see what happens. Worst case, I just redo both of them – but I think I can fix it. 🙂

In other news, I now have a gumroad shop – (I set that up and listed everything over the past few days while the DA stuff rendered) it is linked up top in the main navigation menu as well as here: https://gumroad.com/redleatherart. All of my old mini-sets that are no longer offered through my Patreon page are listed there; and I have made several discounted bundles of six mini-sets each, going up though mini-set 42! Mini-sets 1-6 are only available in a bundle – as was the case with my oronjo shop; the rest can be purchased individually if desired. The newest mini-sets (after 42)  up though 52 are listed for sale but not in bundles… but if people really seem to like the bundle idea, I may make more – we will see. At some point in the near future I need to make a new page on here with some kind of master guide/list for all my old mini-sets… preferably with buy links and stuff – but for now the basic info/previews on my gumroad page will have to do. (I had to crop several of the previews to not have explicit content showing on my base page.) As a little extra bit to try and kick this off right, the first twenty people to purchase something from my gumroad page can use the code “first20” to save 20% on it!

Anyway, I will be back in a week or so with some sort of update – I hope you all enjoy the new content in the mean time, and do vote in the polls on the right if you haven’t yet!

April mini-set preview is finally posted!

Hi again. Sorry for the long gap in posts, but things had not really changed since my previous post regarding my surgery. (I wasn’t able to sit/stand for long periods of time – so there was not much I could do with/for this.) I thought things were getting better late last week, but then on Thursday night I had strange sharp pains in my leg… and had to go back to see the doctor once again – two days after already seeing him. Nothing was apparently wrong, (weird feelings are expected during the healing process apparently) but that strange stiffness and pain continued throughout the weekend… and needless to say, that did not help me get work done. I think things are now finally getting better – and that I can now basically get back to working on this again… but who knows what can happen. (Nothing I can do about this – and it is obviously best to do whatever I have to in order to get better.)

As for the mini-set – first things first, I know I wanted/planned to do a short story for this month’s mini-set… (and technically I kind of did, but more on that in a minute) but this mini-set does not have one; hopefully I can get that worked in for next month’s mini-set instead. Long story kind of short, I wrote a short story for a sci-fi mini-set last week that I had planned before this whole surgery mess happened… but then when I went to try and actually make the mini-set over the weekend – I had assorted issues; and I was not happy with what I came up with initially. My efforts to fix it were unsuccessful and so I had to shelve it for the moment and go with plan B… which also had some slight issues – and so I had to change the scene for this mini-set as well; but I think that worked out for the best here. Sorry for not having the short story to go with it this time around as I wanted, but due to real life and technical issues, that just did not work out this month. I will see if I can fix that sci-fi mini-set for next month… or just write something else for whatever I do instead. 🙂

Anyway, the little story/set-up for this mini-set is that Lucia is out hunting for supplies when she comes across a seemingly abandoned camp at the end of the desert next to a cave… so she searches through all the junk and attempts to find a way to open the chest that was left behind. However, her efforts were cut short when the camp’s residents return from foraging to find a thieving catgirl trying to steal their loot! Lucia assures them that this was a misunderstanding… and promises to make it up to them – with her body. She attempts to satisfy them with blowjobs… but they have little interest in oral sex; so they lift her up and the troglodytes fuck each of her holes quite hard with their big, filthy cocks – and eventually both holes at once! (But Lucia still kind of enjoys it.) The mini-set isn’t finished yet, so I have no idea how many images it will be – but I estimate around eight right now; although the total tends to go up later anyway. [EDIT: the mini-set ended up at 30 images. :D]

As for other things, I obviously have not had time to finish the new DA stuff yet (or do much of anything else new) – since I have only just gotten most of the mini-set situated due to all the real life issues I have had these past two weeks; but I hope to have those done in the next few days. I also fixed a few minor issues on the site in regard to the layout/formatting… if anyone noticed. (One to theoretically aid in reading short stories on the site…) As for other new stuff – I now have a page on Slushe as well – here: https://slushe.com/RedLeatherArt. For those who don’t know, slushe is an up and coming adult artwork site – much like DA or HF… except without the really bad aspects of both of those sites – so check it out. 😀

Status update: 4/18 – Surgery.

Hey again. I just wanted to check in and let you guys know that apparently the thing I was going to the doctor(s) for was worse than I (or the previous doctor) thought, and back on Monday they pretty much immediately scheduled me for surgery on my leg on Wednesday. Allegedly things went fine, but I am not supposed to sit or stand for extended periods for a while; and I need to get up and walk around as much as possible, every hour at least. (So I can’t really sit and work on this stuff right now.)

So… I am not sure when I will have the new mini-set preview ready by at this point – this effectively pushes everything back a fair bit; but this was/is quite necessary and there is nothing I can do about it. I go back in a week for a follow-up and assuming there are no complications, I may be able to get back to serious work around then; but I have no way to be sure.

SST 1.18 ‘final’ and a status update.

Hi. So I just sent out rewards to my patreon patrons, including SST 1.17 – the ‘final’ version for the foreseeable future, barring any bugs or something. (EDIT: there was one major sound bug in 1.17, which I have since fixed – so SST was updated to 1.18; it figures that I would find a problem after posting about the ‘final’ version…) I worked in the remaining Salune voice bits that I could/wanted to – and that means this is effectively all I am going to add to SST right now. I have been working on the new game when I can, but I have had assorted real life things to do recently – including several unplanned doctor visits, with more to come. I will see what I can get done this month with all the distractions… and hope this does not require much more to get fixed in some capacity. That is available via my Patreon page (along with a bunch of other stuff) if anyone is interested…

The mini-set from last month also ended up at basically 15 images – and was fun to do; even if I had  to re-render much of it due to a slight issue I only noticed after it was mostly done.

As for upcoming stuff, I hope to make a special ‘short story’ mini-set this month, as I mentioned previously; and I am going to take the next two days to recharge a bit to try and get enough creative juice back to do that. I also plan to post new DA stuff sometime later this month… but we will see when that gets done.

Other side note – I am attempting to list/post all sorts of things on other sites to try and get more views, etc… I have linked my Redbubble shop up top there, with a couple test renders for some merch (prints and such) if anyone is interested. (They are four of the VHQ renders from my DA page – but I will add more if there is interest in that.) I will see when I can get around to listing some of my old stuff on gumroad… and whatever else I can find – but I have a lot to do this month already.

Public animation preview for the new game.

Hi again. I am currently trying to finish the render for another event preview for my patrons – which will hopefully get posted either late tonight or tomorrow; but while that goes, I wanted to post something here for everyone else. Below is an early gif preview from a full size preview that I sent out to all my patrons late last year. (Slightly before the voice acting mess; which I am still trying to fully resolve.)

In terms of what I am doing now – I have had a couple other commissions to do… (one was private) and may have another commission to share in the coming days; (there are still two days left for my commission sale if anyone is interested… check previous posts for more info) and I am trying to get back into the assorted code/writing for this game… but it is surprisingly hard to try and resume this – the writing in particular is very draining. I will do what I can – but I seem to be focusing on doing more of the event scene renders right now… which do also need done. (There are also other non-explicit/content scenes/renders that I want to put in – so those need done at some point as well.) I am sure this will work out for the best somehow… this is already long past what I was unrealistically and optimistically hoping for late last year – though that was under the assumption that there would be less content and that the characters would all have the same written events… which I decided against. So me expanding my plans for this game combined with the voice acting mess pushed this all back a bit… but things seem to be mostly working out now. I am planning/hoping to get another semi-special mini-set done next month, with another short story bit… but we will see if I can actually do that after working on the assorted game-related stuff up to that point. I also am planning to work in the remaining voice bits into SST next week and send that out to my patrons a little while later; as I think I have all the Salune voice bits now. (I likely will not be able to work in additional voice bits for the other random females as the other actress I was planning to use has not been able to do it and I do not want to waste any more time adding to SST at this point – I mainly wanted to get voice bits in for Salune.)

As I think I mentioned previously… I am currently planning to have at least one animated scene per activity/training type. Status update: 3/15

Hi again. I just wanted to stop by with a quick update. I just sent out rewards to my patrons – including the expanded mini-set from last month that somehow ended up being 21 images! (And really, really nice too.) My other patrons even got an additional preview from it – for those who do not get the full thing. 😀 One other thing… I did not get that final update to SST put together/sent – as I have not received the other voice work yet; but I should have that (allegedly/hopefully) within a week… so I hope to have that ready for the next set of rewards. (Not much I can do about this – it is out of my hands.)

In terms of upcoming stuff; I have a few side things/commissions to do – but I still plan to get the preview for this month’s new mini-set posted sometime next week. We will see what else happens by then; but I hope to make some progress on the new game after I get the mini-set situated. As always, we will see what happens; and I am doing my best with the time I have – but other things may come up, as tends to happen with life.

Anyway, I will see you all again soon… but in the meantime, please vote in the polls on the right and check out all the assorted free content I have posted if you haven’t already! Last chance to get old mini-sets for a while.

Hey. I came by with an unfortunate announcement – I received an email notification a couple days ago that oronjo is apparently shutting down at the end of this month; so as the title of this post reads, this is probably your last chance to get many of those old mini-sets… as I have no backup method of selling them right now. (I can’t really use gumroad, as you are not allowed/supposed to sell hardcore content on there… and most actual distribution sites get more out of it than I do – so there isn’t much point to that either.) I am not entirely sure how to address this… as I am not aware of any similar alternatives, but I will look around; and I really do not want to host a little webshop thing here on this page – as that would require a lot of setup and for me to get an SSL certificate… which costs almost as much as I pay for the hosting.

So… if anyone was considering getting any of those old mini-sets of mine, this is your advance notice that they will likely be unavailable after this month for at least some time.
